Mark V
The Lincoln Continental Mark V was a luxury coupe sold by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company from 1977 to 1979 in North America. The Mark V was derived from the Mark IV, but with an extensive interior and exterior design update. The Mark V was sold for three years and is considered to be the best-selling generation of the Continental Mark series, with 228,262 units built. This Diamond Jubilee Edition was built to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Ford Motor Company in 1978. These special edition Mark Vs were the most expensive vehicle ever sold by the Ford Motor Company.
This particular Mark V is powered by a Ford 385 7.5L V8 engine that generates 208 horsepower and is mated to a three-speed Ford C6 automatic transmission. It has only 9,994 original miles and features diamond level comforts like, air conditioning, a power sunroof, power windows and leather seats. It has never seen winter weather and has been continuously stored indoors and is completely original.
This MARK V Diamond Jubilee is from the impeccable Bob “Wheels” Hohenforst Collection.
