Corvair
The Chevrolet Corvair was a compact car manufactured by Chevrolet from 1960 to 1969. The Corvair remains the only American mass-produced passenger car with a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine. In the nine years of Corvair production, 1,786,243 units were produced.
This second generation Corvair is considered a time capsule survivor, having been properly stored for over 40 years in a climate-controlled facility and remains unrestored. With one owner since having been purchased locally at the former Bumstead Chevrolet dealer in Troy, New York, this rare Corvair only has 11,520 original miles on the odometer. Powered by a 2.7L flat-six, air-cooled engine mated to a two-speed GM Powerglide automatic transmission.
With its original paint and low original miles, this car is ready for the next chapter in its life.
