1947 Crosley Station Wagon
This 1947 Crosley Station Wagon is 1 of 1249 Station Wagons produced by Powel Crosley at an original price of $929. This was the first year the Station Wagon was added to the Crosley line which began producing cars in 1946 until 1952. It featured simulated wood-paneled siding on its rear quarters and soon became slightly higher priced than the passenger cars. The Wagon's extra room and trim made it popular and, even today, collector's lover the wagons. This particular car spent most of its life in Florida with its original owner. “Trixie” is in good running condition and looks forward to her next trip to the ice cream stand with her new owner.
