Woodie
A beautiful, complete frame-off nut and bolt no expense spared restoration that has been done in all original parts and painted in its original colors (manila brown and black fenders). The interior is done in the original black and brown leatherette and natural wood. The original wood body was redone with three types of wood used in the body construction built by Baker-Raulang body works of Ohio for the Ford Co. and then shipped to the Ford plant for final assembly. The wood includes a maple body, spruce side panels and basswood top bows. A spar varnish was applied to finish the wood. The wagon has cowl lights, a side mount spare tire, deluxe radiator chrome grille, deluxe quail radiator mascot and deluxe stone guard, clock rear view mirror, and three rows of seats. The last two rows of seats can be removed to make the wagon a pickup truck. The vehicle features the original inline four cylinder 200 c.i. engine with the three speed transmission.
The wagon won the AACA 1st Place Grand National Award in 2016 in Williamsport, PA and an Award of Excellence for the restoration from the Model A Ford Club of America.
