Testarossa
Ferrari's Testa Rossa was first made famous as a hugely successful racing car in the 1950s and early 1960s. Ferrari introduced an entirely different automobile, spelled Testarossa, at the Paris Salon in the autumn of 1984 as a high performance grand touring car and successor to the 512BBi.
The Testarossa employs a mid-engine 4.0-litre, flat-12, the flat-12 'boxer' engine gained four valves per cylinder for increased efficiency and performance. The Testarossa is also distinctive for its side-mounted radiators—which had become common racing practice—covered by the car's iconic horizontal side strakes.
