1988 MERCEDES-BENZ 560 SL CONVERTIBLE (with removable hardtop)
The Mercedes-Benz's R107 platform is one of the most successful in the long history of the company. It was used as the automobile of choice for the rich and powerful on TV's DALLAS. It was a symbol of class as Jennifer Hart's car in the popular crime drama HART TO HART and Richard Gere's decadent ride in AMERICAN GIGILO.
From 1971 to 1989 all SLs were built on the R107 platform from the 280 SL up to and including this very handsome 560 SL we're putting up for auction.
We are offering a 1988 560Sl with original paint and interior. The 560 SL is painted a flawless Astrasilber (Astrosilver) Metallic. The interior's blue leather has never been touched. The interior, also, has wood grain appoints and loaded up with power steering, power windows, power seats, power brakes and A/C. It is powered by the North America only 5.6 liter V-8 mated to a 4G-Tronic automatic.
As a plus, this show winning convertible also has a removable hardtop painted to match as part of the auction package.
Owner believes mileage to be original showing 35,349 on odometer. Title reads exempt.
