Glasspar was the pioneer in the development of fiberglass particularly in the building of small boats. These boats have a strong following and have become highly collectable. There is a large and active owners club.
This particular boat, built in 1958, has been restored by a well known boatworks in Cincinnati, Ohio. The hull is blue and white and It comes with a 50 h.p. V-4 Evinrude outboard motor and a single axel Gator boat trailer. It also comes with a Surfline fiberglass hardtop.
These Glasspar boats are often found in car collections where they fit well with the cars of the 50s. Glasspar actually produced fiberglass bodies for building sports cars in the era. The quality of these bodies led GM to use fiberglass in building the Corvette
