1932 highboy steel body from Dearborn built in 08
Body was finished in PPG jet black single stage 1932 grill shell and billet insert
The SO-CAL 34° windshield was the last off there are no more available brings a lot of attention to that specific windshield for its style
Chassis is a traditional 32 built by lucky 7 chassis engineering finished in a tuxedo black PPG single stage
1957 Oldsmobile 371 with the J-2 triple carb option was freshly rebuilt by Jim Coleman racing engines and Ross racing engineering out of Ohio
All three correct Rochester to jet carburetors where rebuilt in house
The radiator is a traditional griffin radiator with an SPAL Reversible adjustable fan
This engine runs at 1:60 to 180 and normal driving has never seen 195 on the hottest days and in traffic
The Muncie four-speed was out of a Corvette it is a close ratio was freshly rebuilt all new bearings and synchronizers
A hydraulic clutch was installed in place of a mechanical Z bar set up for reliability and durability
The rear end is a Ford 9 inch filled with 411 gears and posit traction
Chassis has front disc brakes and conventional rear drum
All four corners have fire stone piecrust tires with the traditional 4 inch rear white wall and 3 1/2 front white wall
The instrument gauge suite is classic instruments with the V-8 emblem and Coca-Cola red with stainless steel inserts to complement the body with stainless trim
The dash is fiberglass with a 91 prowler gauge suite modified to fit the 32 Dash
A no nonsense Speedway Motors steering column with aluminum 14 inch steering wheel
The interior is Coca-Cola red vinyl with 2 inch plates all around with carpet to match
The headlights were converted to HID any bulb from local parts store will now fit in original housing and reflector
Rear tail lights are LED
To finish the car off Ray Benson did the pin striping with traditional East coast style striping
This car was built as a traditional 50s style hot rod that you would've seen on the streets of southern California
With the exception of an ignition system conversion to a hall affect switch for reliability and a Ford 9 inch instead of a traditional Oldsmobile rear
It is easy to work on a lot of fun to drive and very reliable.
